Amir’s Garden is an oasis for hikers and equestrians located on a hilltop of Griffith Park. It is a short hike offering panoramic views over Glendale and surrounding.
Information:
– Distance: 1,2 miles loop
– Difficulty: Easy
– Time: 1:30
First, I took the Mineral Wells Trail. The flat path goes along the golf course.

After 0,4 mile, I reached the intersection with the North Trail (you will see Mineral Well’s parking lot on your right). At the sign, hike up toward the water reservoirs.

This part of the hike can be challenging in summer (no shade). The path is steep, sandy, and large. Hopefully, it’s a short 0,4-mile walk until the garden.

You will contour reservoir 73 before the last ascent to reach Amir’s Garden.

Look at the view over Glendale, it’s gorgeous

Enjoy the oasis of Amir’s Garden. It’s a green, quiet and relaxing place. There are a few tables and benches, as well as a water fountain. To discover the garden and some hidden areas, walk a few meters down the hills. Then take a break to enjoy both the garden and the view.

Finally, I took the path next to Amir’s Garden Sign to start my descent. The vegetation is arider as you exit the oasis. Be cautious as the stairs are steep. Quickly, you will distinguish the golf course at the bottom of the hill.
