Seattle features local treasures for urban nature seekers. Let’s go green with these five gardens and soak up some sun!
1) Olympic Sculpture Park
Olympic Sculpture Park is a nine-acre waterfront park. It includes 20 sculptures and the Neukom Vivarium, a 60-foot-long nurse log.
The zig-zag path leads to different artworks with amazing city & harbor views.

2) Centennial Park
Centennial Park is an 11-acre waterfront park. It offers views of Elliot Bay, Mount Rainier, and the Olympic Mountains. It’s quiet and relaxing to walk, run, or bike on this wandering path. Don’t miss the Tlingit totem pole and the shipmate’s light memorial.

3) Kerry Park
Kerry Park is a 1,26-acre park in Queen Anne Hills. Catch downtown Seattle, Elliot Bay, and Mount Rainier. See also Changing Form, a sculpture installed in 1971 by artist Doris Chase.

4) Waterfall Garden Park
Waterfall Garden Park is a 60-foot park with a 22-foot waterfall in Pioneer Square. This pocket park was built in 1977 to celebrate UPS’s 100th anniversary on-site. Stop by if you visit Seattle’s oldest neighborhood.

5) Belltown Cottage Park
Belltown Cottage Park is a 7,200-square-foot community garden. Initially, this site encompassed six craftsman bungalows for fishermen. Today, it’s a colorful and peaceful garden.
