A passion for Travel

World travelers, Ed and Lynn Hogan built a garden to commemorate the cultures of the world. The 4.5-acre Gardens of World opened in 2001. It includes five different gardens style: French, Italian, Japanese, English, and the California Missions.

Distinctive Gardens

Stroll the five gardens to travel to different destinations and enjoy flora diversity.

Enter the serene Japanese Garden with its pagoda, bamboo, and Koi Pond. It’s a relaxing and quiet place to start your visit.

Then, rediscover Californian missions’ history at the Mission Courtyard. Local artists Bridget Duffy and Mark Fenton painted the 21 missions established on the Camino Real.

The central fountain is a traditional three-level fountain: the lower level was for chickens, the intermediate for horses, and the higher level was for people.

Next to the courtyard is the statue of the founder of the missions: Father Junipero Serra

The large fountain is the French Garden masterpiece along with symmetry parterres.
